Chapter Two.

REPLY :

Yo, North! Meet me in your hotel lobby. I know some hot clubs around. You might be able to meet my hot sister.

I changed then took a cab and went straight there.

* * *

I reached at Hilton Hotel’s lobby.

No North to be seen.

I took out my juicy culture sidekick cell phone.

MESSAGE :

Dang, North! Where the heck are you?

Second later, my cell phone beeped.

NEW MESSAGE :

Some club called Moist. Come, I met some people. Friendly but not horny. Don’t worry.

* * *

I spotted North with some people.

Very familiar people.

“Look! There she is. ” North shouted, real loud.

As if it was his own house.

Wait a minute, he’s with Nicole, Jean and Edward.

I walked to them and waved.

“That is the Idiot you’ve been mentioning about? ” Nicole giggled as she spoke.

“Yes, She’s an Idiot! ” North replied, not knowing anything.

“She’s my twin sister, you Idiot! “

Then, everyone laughed except North.

“This means we are going to me in the same school! Yeah!” North smiled widely while saying.

“You’re going to Harvards?” Edward didn’t looked pleased.

“Yes, brother. We’re gonna be friends forever!”

Jean and Edward exchanged glance.

You could see the ‘Oh God’ look in their eyes.

* * *

Till four in the morning, Nicole and North were the only ones who got drunk.

Jean and Edward went back early.

They needed space, they said.

So here I am, being with the two sillies talking crap.

“North, let me ask you, why didn’t the chicken crossed the road?” Nicole asked.

“Hmm… That’s easy. The chicken was drunk too.”

They both giggled.

“No, because the chicken had crossed the road.”

The both laughed out loud.

Excuse me, they are too over.

I was the one who paid for everything.

Took cared of them.

And now, they didn’t even know I existed.

They don’t even care.

I was invisible to them.

So, I sat at a bench at the park.

Leaving them both walking and falling.

Leaving them alone.

I looked up at the sky.

It’s been long, since I came across something like that.

The moon shined so gently while the star blinked.

A smooth wind blew through me.

My long, silky hair flew, following the direction of the wind.

Gosh, I feel like a model.

I took a deep breath.

Inhaled then exhaled.

I shut my eyes, enjoying the moment.

When I opened them, I saw something shiny flew over the sky.

A wishing star.

I made a wish.

A very special one.

Just hope it would come true.

Chapter One.

“Flight to Honalulu. Passengers please ………….”

Yes. I am in an airport.

Not knowing what would happen next.

After two months in Los Angeles, working for experince.

Gosh.

Finally! I earned enough.

For two whole weeks, my mind thinks of nothing but my future, and money too.

$ $ $

AND, I also bought myself a brand new MacBookPro.

Plus, a protecter for it too.

Red, the perfect colour.

I spotted a seat in Starbucks.

Wi-Fi. Thank God.

If not, I will be so bored without it.

For one whole hour.

“Flight to New York. Passengers please proceed to the waiting lounge.”

I just realize an hour just passed.

I packed my things and did what I was told.

* * *

Seat number 27C, the seat right next to the window.

My perfect spot.

I took out my favorite book.

Shopaholic – Sophie Kinsella.

“Excuse me, do you know where is seat number 27B?”

I turned my head.

Just to realize that a cute blonde guy was talking to me.

“Here. Right here.” I pointed to the seat beside me.

“O, thanks. So I guess we’ll be spending the next few hours together, eh?”

“Probably.” I smiled.

“Lucky you.”

“No, lucky you.”

We both grinned.

I scanned through him.

Burberry jacket, Armani quarter pants and a Gucci hand luggage.

Not bad, I thought.

Just then, he took out a Sony PSP.

I peeked, out of curiosity.

Human nature

The O.C.

God, he is so OUT-DATED!

He’s watching SEASON ONE.

SEASON ONE!

FYI, I immediately lost interest.

Took out my MacBook.

Dang, no Wi-Fi?

Oh Yeah, I just realize.

I am in a plane.

For sure, there won’t be any Wi-Fi.

What was I thinking.

Boredom for the next few hours.

I turned around to the outdated, blonde haired guy.

To my surprise, he was actually looking into my notebook.

“I was bored watching the O.C again. I deleted the all seasons but left the first one. God, this is boring.”

Ah. Finding excuses to hide his out-datedness.

“Passengers, the flight will soon take off. Please remain seated and strap your seat belts. Rules of the flight will be shown in the small screen in front of your seat. And, electronic devices must be shut down until the signal is shown off. Thank you.”

I shut down my notebook.

Then, looked out of the window.

The sun is setting.

What a beautiful sight.

“Ah, isn’t the sky beautiful at this moment.” That outdated, blonde haired liar guy speaks.

The sky will never be beautiful when someone as annoying as you speaks.

“Oh, so, where are you from?” He asked, prior to my ignorance.

“The place where you’re going.” I replied with a smile.

“I see. I’m going to the place where we’re heading, for studies.”

“Which college?” I asked.

“Wow, you’re smart. Yes, I’m going to study in Harvards. You? Well, you don’t look like someone who finished college.”

“Starting my degree in the college you’re going.”

“Amazing! I just found a brand new friend! Oh, friend, well, you don’t want me to name you friend for the whole time. What’s your name?”

“Angie. Short for Angelina.”

“Oh, Nathan. But people call me North, for jokes.”

Just then, I burst into laughter.

North, what a stupid name.

I looked at North, I mean, Nathan.

He looked at me like I was some kind of Idiot.

“Sorry, but just, North, is hilarious.”

“For your punishment, I’ll name you Idiot.”

“Idiot. Fine. NORTH!”

We both laughed.

Now, we have things in common.

One. We are going to the same college.

Two. We both have the same age.

Three. We both have silly names.

So, we both chatted for the rest of the flight.

I found out that his older brother is a senior in Harvards.

And he told me about his life in L.A while I told him my side of the story.

We both hugged goodbye before we left the airport.

“Nicole!” I shouted, when I saw my twin sister waiting for me.

She was wearing something very familiar.

Dang, its my Armani dress!

How dare she touch my clothes and my beloved WARDROBE!

She ran towards me and gave me a hug.

“God, Angie. I missed you so much! So, I wore your clothes to remind me of you.”

I’ve been listening to silly excuses from her since she started stealing my clothes!

Eg, there was one time, where she even said that she bought the same clothes as me when I found out she was wearing my jeans.

Then, there was another time, she accused me of stealing her clothes which is mine.

Man, was I pissed.

But, honestly, she looked so good wearing my clothes.

She have perfect figure.

Slim, tall and pretty.

On the other hand, I am fat, short and ugly.

Nah, I was just joking.

But, seriously, she is one hot chic.

Back to story,

“That’s great. I missed you too. I would lurvvvve to wear your clothes when you’re away. What a great way to think about your love ones.”

Nicole’s smile faded.

“Nice joke. I bet you’re just kidding! Anyway, mum and dad are away in Hawaii celebrating their first sex day anniversary. And to celebrate your coming back from L.A, I invited people for dinner.”

“People. Or lots of people?”

“You’ll see.”

This is not good.

* * *

“Surprise!” I heard people shouting as I opened the house door.

There was a banner with captions saying, “ WELCOME HOME, WE MISSED YOU, ANGIE.”

I felt really appreciated.

I couldn’t really identify the people in my house.

But, I could tell that they are lots of people in it.

Suddenly, someone hugged me from behind.

“Angie! God, I missed you!”

It was Jean, my best-friend.

I could recognize her voice.

We have been friends since we were three.

And now, sixteen years passed.

Now, we both are nineteen.

All grown up and matured.

“So Jean.” I turned back. “How are you when I was gone?”

“Angie, lots of things changed. Edward and I are together.”

“Great. I can’t believe it! Edward, you.”

“I didn’t really believe when I found out I fell for him.”

“So how long are you guys already?”

“Two weeks.”

So, we sat down on a coach and talked.

She told me how romantic Edward was during their first date.

She said Edward booked the entire restaurant which Jean liked the most.

And he also decorated the restaurant with lots of cards and presents.

He even prepared a special meal for her.

Well, Edward is a great guy and he is lucky to have such a great girlfriend.

How lucky they both are.

After the party, Nicole went out clubbing with her friends while I stayed at home cleaning everything up.

Till, my cell phone rang.

It received a new text message.

NEW MESSAGE :

Idiot! It’s me, North. I’m so bored staying here. Since it’s my first time here, would you like to bring me somewhere. Clubbing, perhaps?

North. Outdated, blonde haired liar.

So, I decided to hang around with my new friend.
